I’m sure you are aware that we all have 7 major energy systems or chakras within our personal energy systems. Below are 4 concepts that may help your understanding.
1. There are far more than 7 Chakras
There are actually 114 but don’t despair, it is not necessary to know them in order to spiritually evolve! Clearing and balancing our chakras takes a fair amount of work and dedication so the 7 main chakras found within our body’s personal energy system would be the best way to start. None are more important than the others and they, in fact, work together, so if one is out of balance or feels stuck energy cannot flow easily to or from the ones above or below. You may not even realize these energy vortices are unbalanced but once they are aligned you will certainly feel the difference. Some of the more obvious signs are addictions, out of control emotions, unease or pain in the body, poor communication, feeling unheard, inability to effectively connect with Source and lack of vitality.
2. It Is Best to Start With Your Heart Chakra
It has been said that we should start with our root chakra as this is our grounding chakra, and clear each one in order up from there. It is far easier and more manageable to start with the heart chakra, which opens us up to all forms of love & compassion …once this is open and balanced the energy moves more freely into the throat chakra, where we can then communicate our wants and needs to Source and achieve the necessary balance. From throat we go up to third eye and then crown.
The lower 3 chakras, root, sacral and solar plexus are considered to have a more mental or lower mind aspect ~ dealing more on the physical plane. Once we have the higher mind chakras open and balanced it becomes easier to connect with the mind, the more physical plane chakras. In simple terms the top 4 chakras can positively affect the physical plane or first 3 chakras by more effectively flowing the vortex of energy if they, themselves, are open and free-flowing. Consider them the communicators with the lower chakras, the energy flows up and out the crown chakra coming in at the base or root chakra creating a torus effect which is strengthened each time we work on our chakras.
3. Our Chakras Need Continual Balancing
Did you know that our chakras can become blocked, stuck or unbalanced even though we have previously worked on them? They are an often overlooked and incredibly important aspect of our spiritual journey and need constant attention. I would go so far as to say that they are the gateway to our spiritual growth.
4. The Names of the 2 Chakras Below & Above Our Physical Bodies are Earth Star and Soul Star Chakras
The Earth Star chakra connects us with the multidimensional aspect of Gaia or Mother Earth, deepening our connection with nature and all of humanity, it is found outside of our physical body a few inches below our feet.
The soul star connects us with All That Is…the full blueprint of our souls’ experiences can be found here; it’s positioned above our crown chakra. The more we are able to open and balance the higher chakras, the more we can connect and become in tune with higher dimensions such as 5D, and higher consciousness, perpetually evolving our spiritual evolution.
These are not part, as such, of the 7 major chakras but make up part of 5 other chakras found close to our physical bodies that are more ethereal or spiritual in nature ~ which in total number 12. It has to be said though, that all are interconnected, as is everything, and we should aspire to keep furthering our alignment in order to further our spiritual evolution.
Our energy system is personal and each person can experience it in a different way so don’t feel overwhelmed if it’s not happening the way you read that it should. If it feels right for you to start with a particularly blocked or unbalanced chakra then that is where you should start. If you don’t feel the vibration or tingle that you read about that doesn’t mean it’s not working ~ it is! It is true that the more you practice the more in touch and connected you will become and your energy system will communicate with you in the way best suited to you.
