How to Undo Regret

Living and learning will always come with regret. In life bad decisions or actions will always happen, some worse than others, and these will feel like mistakes … they’re not, they’re just choices which taught us something either at the time or later on in life. (If we have not learned from them, it is not yet our time to take a step up on the ladder of personal evolution).

The problem is … how to live with them.

The buzz phrase around at the moment is “letting go” and while this is a positive choice, it is sometimes easier said than done!

The way I see it is that regret cannot be let go of because it is there to serve a positive purpose … regret played a part in making us who we are, it is intrinsically a part of who we are now. Read that again.

Well, how about we turn regret into something sublime, it has after all, happened for a reason. We’re going to turn this energy of regret around on itself and fill it with light, love & life.

The best way to do this is to take time out and sit in quiet contemplation, start by giving thanks to regret for teaching you what you needed to learn. Let the feelings of regret take whatever form they need to take …anger, tears, sadness, sorrow, deeper regretful feelings… let these come up to the surface & even surround you for a few minutes.

Now breathe deeply, a few times, from Universe or Source energy, fill your mind, heart space, body and spirit with pure white, gold, or shimmering light…

…now breathe it out, on each out breath, let this pure energy surround and infiltrate the energy of regret, keep breathing more out…

…breathe deeply again and with each out breath see the pure energy attach to and turn regret inside out and transform into love, light and beautiful life. See, in your minds eye, how this pure energy twists and turns regret in on itself becoming positive, sublime, useful energy.

Relief is bliss, turning regret into love is relief…
